This fellowship is a prestigious, graduate-level learning experience designed for leaders who seek to lead with ethical clarity, public responsibility, and theological depth.

Fully Online Format

Accessible from anywhere in the nation, designed for working professionals.

12-Month Duration

A focused one-year commitment from September 2025 to August 2026.

9 Graduate Credits

Applicable toward an Ecumenical Institute master’s degree.

Classes meet via Zoom on Thursday evenings from 6-8:30 p.m. Eastern Time.

Full Payment

Participants or their sponsoring organizations pay the full tuition for the program.

Bishop Eric J. Freeman, Ph.D. & Rev. Brent Laytham, Ph.D.

Bishop Eric Freeman, a national voice in public theology, social ethics, and ecclesial innovation, is Senior Fellow and Convener of this fellowship. Dr. Freeman is collaborating with Dr. Brent Laytham, Dean of the Ecumenical Institute, to shape a vision for theological education that forms civic and corporate leaders with moral clarity, theological depth, and public responsibility.
