About the Library
The Marion Burk Knott Library of St. Mary’s Seminary and University is the largest specialized theological library in the Baltimore area, with additional materials in the areas of philosophy, psychology, pastoral counseling and church history, among others.
LIBRARY RESOURCES INCLUDE:
- More than 140,000 books 403 journal titles and 22,000 bound journal volumes

- A wide variety of DVDs and CDs, including courses from the Teaching Company
- Special collections: Raymond E. Brown Johannine Collection, John Paul II / Catholic-Jewish Relations Collection, Rare Book Room
- 7 public access computers in addition to wi-fi capability
- 5 private study rooms available for reservation by individuals
- Group study space available in the Raymond Brown room and JPII room
