Description
This course is being offered to all adult Catholics (and other adults interested in learning about the Catholic understanding of this topic). Dr. Barnabas Aspray applies his particular interest in theology to the reality of migrants, refugees, and modern society’s response to them today. In this single session, he looks to the experience of Jesus as a refugee for insight to our current experiences.

Forgiveness: Its Impact is Greater Than We Ever Imagined

Description
This course is being offered to all ministry personnel (priests, deacons, and lay ecclesial ministers)—and all adult Catholics interested in learning about their faith. Dr. Patricia Fosarelli, combining her leadership in the fields of both medicine and theology, examines the reality of forgiveness and the broad impact it has on both the one forgiven and the forgiver him-/herself. In fact, as Dr. Fosarelli explains, the impact on the well-being of the forgiver—physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually—is greater than we might imagine at first consideration.

This course is being offered to all ministry personnel (priests, deacons, and lay ecclesial ministers)—and all adult Catholics interested in learning about their faith. Fr. Dennis Billy offers an introductory examination of prayer: what it is, how it works, and ways to live the commitment to prayer. He includes several prayer practices you can use today.

Redemptorist Father Dennis Billy has authored more than 50 books and published over 400 articles in a variety of scholarly and popular journals. He is also very active in retreat work and in the ministry of spiritual direction. He holds The Robert F. Leavitt Distinguished Service Chair in Theology at St. Mary’s and is professor emeritus, scholar, and fellow at several other graduate theological schools.
